Anchorage Woman Charged with Running a $7 Million Ponzi Scheme

How many investors could have avoided this scheme if they had insisted on a professional due diligence investigation? All of them.

According to prosecutors in Alaska, Dorothy Samantha Delay-Wilson took more than $7 million from 14 victims in a 13-year Ponzi scheme that promised profits from trading in a “global investment fund, European subprime loans and an investment banking company.”  According to the Anchorage Daily News: (more…)
